Recycle your 1995 model year or older vehicle and receive up to $3300* in additional cash incentives
Thinking about upgrading that old ride you've been hanging on to? If you've got a vehicle that's a 1995 model year or older, in running condition, that's been registered and insured for the last six months in your name* , then it's time you took part in our Cash for Clunkers program.
Here's how it works:
- Bring your old vehicle in to your local GM dealer
- GM's Cash for Clunkers program provides qualified customers who successfully donate their vehicle to the Retire Your Ride Program, supported by the Government of Canada, with an incentive of $750 to $3,000 depending on their choice of eligible GM vehicle
- On top of the GM incentive, the Retire Your Ride Program will kick in an extra $300 towards your new ride - you can read all about it at www.retireyourride.ca
- The GM incentive - and the $300 Retire Your Ride reward - can be used towards the purchase or finance of an eligible 2010 or 2011 GM vehicle
- You'll be doing your part for the environment by upgrading to a cleaner more fuel efficient vehicle
